Madeleine Stack accompanied Camille Serisier’s exhibition Ovid’s Medusa with her written essay The Sun’s Ex-Girlfriend.

Madeleine Stack is a writer and visual artist currently living and working in Brisbane. She completed a Bachelor of Fine Art (Visual Art/Journalism) with Honours at the Queensland University of Technology in 2013. She is the co-director of Brisbane ARI Fake Estate and her writing ‘Do Not Disturb’ was recently published in Eyeline (Issue 78-79, 2013).
Madeleine Stack works within a range of media including: installation, video, photography and text. Creating predominantly site specific work, Stack explores liminal and peripheral spaces. Her work investigates transient spaces and architectures both interior and exterior.
