Lisa Bryan-Brown has written her essay Simultaneous Dichotomies in the work of Yannick Blattner for Yannick Blattner’s exhibition It’s all gone Shane Warne: 708 wickets in one hour.


Lisa Bryan-Brown is an emerging curator and writer based in Brisbane. She often explores aspects of contemporary feminist discourse considering issues of gender and politics.  Bryan-Brown has investigated these notions in her work as a freelance writer and in her recent curated exhibitions: Current (2012), Addition 3 (2012), and Field (2013).

Bryan-Brown has had work published for Sullivan + Strumpf (2013), and written multiple essays for the Graduate Art Show + Espresso Garage Award catalogue (2012) and 25th Churchie National Emerging Art Award catalogue, for exhibitions held at Griffith University Art Gallery (2012). She is a regular contributor to the No Brow Art Show and is the LEVEL ARI Emerging Curator in Residence for 2013.
