Andi Halfpapp

Andi Halfpapp has written her essay Our Memories Are Not Our Own for Pirrin Francis’ exhibition Nightfall Recollections.


Andi Halfpapp is a Brisbane based emerging arts writer and curator. Her current research and curatorial practice evolves around the construction of discursive and immersive exhibition environments. Through this research Halfpapp questions the current curatorial models and frameworks to find a mode of curation that is critically accessible to the broader public by utilising their pre-existing knowledge.

Halfpapp completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Visual Arts) with Distinction at Queensland University of Technology in 2008. She has completed a Diploma of Education in Visual Arts (primary) and Film and Media (secondary) in 2012 and is currently undertaking a Master of Arts (Research).

Halfpapp has had her article ‘One & Other: Inhouse with Jake Sun’ published in DAS Platforms: Emerging & Contemporary Art (2013).
